Essentially what we did and what some other companies did was they essentially said, I want to be this big machine, I want to own the ability for people to, for example, access a particular song at anytime on demand for a very small sum of money.
I’m going to talk to you about platform and the platform for a business that we’ve developed for ourselves. And as you’ll see, when we started out, we knew that we would end up owning a piece of the internet in a particular way.
This was all joined up thinking now, I’m privileged because I can look back after the fact. And I can share with you everything that we’ve experienced. And when I started out, I didn’t have the benefits of that experience, I had to make it up as I went along testing and perfecting.
Believe that I’ve got all the answers, I can assure you. But I’ve kind of thought about this. I’m kind of coming to sort of the following observations. And I’ll throw these out there for you. And I stand ready to have a discussion with you to see if there’s any Americans.
